The ATMOS double-storey gasifying boiler brings a new perspective to combustion of brown coal combined with wood, which was awarded the Grand Prix at the Pragotherm exhibitions, the Gold Medal at the International Building Fair Brno, and the Golden Sheaf at the Bread Basket exhibition. Nowadays coal is rejected because it pollutes towns and villages with smoke from obsolete types of boilers. Our new ecological boiler makes brown coal a fuel with prospects. If you do not have enough coal, you can burn wood, or you can combine them. The boiler is made of two chambers placed one on top of the other, where the top chamber serves as a fuel tank and the bottom one as the combustion chamber and ash tray. A new patented grate that serves as a gasifying jet, which enables perfect combustion of coal and wood separately or together and ash removal, is situated between them.
As it can provide combustion of fuels that are and shall in the future be the absolute cheapest, the boilers operation is the most economical in comparison with other boilers. The characteristic of burning coal and wood itself makes the boilers owner a person less dependent on monopolies of coal or other companies. In the gasifying process in the new ATMOS double-storey boiler, low emission values were achieved, therefore all C18 - C40 boilers have been awarded the ECOLOGICALLY FRIENDLY PRODUCT label. Smooth regulation throughout the whole output range, with efficiency of 83 - 87 % depending on the boiler type, solved the problem of a reduced boiler output (bad combustion), which is typical for a boilers operation during the best part of a heating season. Old constructions of boilers using the combustion method of burning-off enabled regulation only to a small extent, therefore the boiler was operated either at full output or it was throttled and thus a large amount of combustion products escaped into the air. Not only gas, but also brown coal can be ecological fuel.
Nut 1 brown coal and dry logwood are recommended as fuel. Other types of brown coal, briquettes and wood briquettes serve as alternative fuel. We add fuel approximately 2 to 5 times a day depending on the fuel used, and ashes can be removed once in 1 to 7 days depending on the fuel ratio.
