on the principle of generator gasification with the use of a gas exhaust fan (S), which withdraws the combustion gases from the boiler.
The boiler body, made as a weldment of quality 3 to 8 mm steel sheets, comprises:

  • Fuel hopper (6 mm), which is equipped with a door having an opening for mounting the pellet burner in the upper section, and with a gasification nozzle or with a rotary iron gasification grate for easy ash removal at the bottom;
  • Burnout part, which is equipped with ceramic pipe fittings for ideal burnup of all the combustible substances with a high efficiency and environmentally-friendly combustion.

The fuel hopper upper stoking door is modified for building in the following pellet burners:

ATMOS ERATO GP 20 4,5 - 25 kW
ATMOS ERATO GP 20 4,5 - 25 kW
ATMOS IWABO VILLA S1 4,5 - 22 kW
ATMOS IWABO VILLA S1 4,5 - 22 kW

ATMOS A25, ATMOS ERATO GP20 or IWABO VILLA S1 burners are designed for quality white pellets made of soft bark-less wood with a diameter of 6 to 8 mm, with a length of 10 to 25 mm and with a calorific value of 16 to 19 MJ/kg. Automatic fuel ignition by means of a glowing filament which ignites the pellets whenever heating-up is required, is an advantage of these burners. Thus, the burner and the boiler work at full power with maximum efficiency and the best combustion quality. Unlike a number of competition products that do not have any ignition device and must maintain a glowing layer in the combustion space. Thus, they are operated at low power when the temperature of combustion gases drops below 100°C. Therefore, tar and acids are generated in the combustion space which reduces the service life of the boiler, lowers efficiency, increases fuel consumption, decreases combustion quality, and further fouls the boiler which requires more frequent cleaning.

In this application, the following conveyors are designed for these burners:

  • A screw conveyor for the ATMOS ERATO GP20 burner with a length of 2 m and a diameter of 90 mm (included in the burner price)
  • A screw conveyor for the A25 and WABO VILLA S1 burner with a length of 2.5 m and a diameter of 75 mm (included in the burner price)

Burner Standard Boiler Build-In Benefits

  • A simple and affordable solution
  • Comfort possibility of burning large pieces of wood or pellets without manual stoking
  • Easy wood, briquettes, or coal stoking with no smoke removed by an exhaust fan = a clean boiler room
  • Large (500 and 1,000 liter) pellets hopper (boiler room section) = refueling once in 7 and 14 days (once a year)
  • Comfortable and dust-free ash removal with an exhaust fan once in 14 up to 30 days
  • Automatic ignition of pellets with the ignition filament already built-in the burner
  • High efficiency (83 up to 91%) by fuel and boiler type = high saving of heating costs
  • Environmentally-friendly combustion = boiler according to ČSN EN 303-5 Class 3 = subsidized from the "Green to Savings" program of the Czech State Fund for the Environment (SFŽP) (except for C182 and AC25S due to the possibility of coal burning)
  • Overheating protection cooling loop = no risk of boiler damage
  • Automatic boiler turn-off with a combustion gas thermostat after the fuel has burnt out completely
  • Small dimensions and modern design
In case wood, wood briquettes, or coal is used as fuel for heating, the burner should always be removed from the boiler door and the burner opening should be covered with the delivered lid equipped with heat insulation.

Installation

When installing the burner into the upper door of the gasification boiler, it is necessary to use a conveyor with a minimum length of 2 meters so that the length of the hose between the conveyor and the burner is ma inimum of 15 centimeters for safety reasons. However, the optimum hose length is approximately 40 cm so that the door to the pellet burner is easy to open when cleaning the combustion chamber.

Configuration of the boiler, burner, and tankBoiler room

Recommended Configuration

The configuration with LADDOMAT 21 or the thermoregulation valve and the compensating tank with a capacity of 500 or 1,000 liters for achieving the low fuel consumption and high service life of the burner and the boiler is the recommended configuration. By configuring with ATMOS ACD01 special-design regulation, or the APP 200 module, which controls the boiler operation depending on the temperature in the lower and upper sections of the compensating tank, further fuel saving (up to 20%) is possible..

The DC18S, DC24RS, DC30RS, C18S, and AC25S gasification boilers are certified as a whole together with the ATMOS ERATO GP20, ATMOS IWABO VILLA S1, and ATMOS A25 pellet burners. Therefore, it is possible to order these boilers directly from the manufacturer in the left-hand or right-hand version with the pellets burner built-in modification already available. In case you would wish to install the burner into the standard or other ATMOS boiler, you could order a special set for its rebuilding allowing the installation of the pellet burner into the upper door. The set consists of the complete modified door, special electric wiring, and accessories with 23 items.

Upper door pellet burner build-in set

  • Right-hand opening - code: S0532
  • Left-hand opening - code: S0533
Attention - the pellet burner can only be installed into a gasification boiler equipped with an exhaust fan with an output up to 40 kW.
