Thermostatic valve for the cooling loop

The valve set at 110 °C is suitable for boilers connected to accumulation reservoirs and closed expansion chambers.

The TS 130 - 3/4 A valve or WATTS STS 20, whose sensor is located in the back part of the boiler, protects the boiler from overheating in such a way that should the water temperature rise above 95 °C, it lets water into the cooling area, which absorbs the excess heat energy and flows out into the drain. In case of placement of the non-return flap valve in the water input flow of the cooling loop, due to the inhibition of possible backflow of water due to reduced pressure in the water piping, the cooling loop must be fitted with a 6-10 bar safety valve or at least a 4L expansion tank.

Warning - The cooling loop to prevent overheating must not be used for any other purpose other than for protection against overheating - set by the EN ČSN 303-5 standard. It is never to be used for the heating of water.
